In a rare television interview, environmental legend and writer Wendell Berry leaves his Kentucky farm for an inspiring conversation.

Wendell Berry rarely appears on television. For one thing, when he’s not writing, he’s farming—and that can keep a fellow busy from sunrise to sunset. But when he and Bill Moyers met recently, after considerable persuasion he said “OK, bring your cameras with you.” This portrait is the result.

    Wendell Berry provides an important insight for those of us interested in change: “You cannot solve big problems with big solutions.” Sustainability cannot be figured out, designed or fixed. A more promising future must be forged through one’s daily living and being.
