Ted Eng was born and raised on a farm, and out of eighteen children was the one who carried on the family farming tradition. Ted is now president of Zephyr Organics, which is the second largest organic grower operation in Ontario. He farms over 100 acres with twenty greenhouses used for year-round production. Some of his products include romaine and leaf lettuce, bok choy, spinach and leeks.

Ted has been a long-time member of the Ontario Farmers Association and is very dedicated to the farming community, sitting on numerous boards and committees, including the Durham agricultural committee. Ted also holds the position of local councilor for Ward Two, Uxbridge Township.
