Shaukat Ali
Shaukat Ali grew up on a family farm in Northern Pakistan. Shaukat obtained his MSc degree from Agriculture University Peshawar and his M.S from the department of Fruit & Vegetable Sciences at Cornell University.
Shaukat has worked with different international organizations as a Horticulture Specialist. Apart from his work promoting non-traditional horticultural crops, Shaukat also worked on eco-farming and innovative extension approaches during his assignments with UNDP and Swiss Intercorporation.
Shaukat and his family made Canada their new home in 2002, where he operated a small specialty produce market in Toronto before becoming Farm Manager at Algoma Orchards.
