About the Guide
No guide to resources on sustainable agriculture could pretend to cover it all: agriculture is a diverse, ever-changing industry, and new resources become available all the time. So rather than developing a complete collection, we’ve selected a set of resources that best meet the general needs of new farmers. We like to think of the guide as a launching pad – a means to jump into a lifelong learning process. All of the resources listed here provide excellent bibliographies of their own, which you may use to gather additional information that is relevant to your specific interests and plans.
Your Comments
The best way to improve the guide is through reader suggestions, so if we’re missing a crucial book, magazine, or organization, please do let us know. Please add your comments and ideas in the Ready to Farm? Forum.
We hope that this guide will help you through the exciting process of dreaming, planning, and building a new farm!
