Preena Chauhan has been involved in Arvinda’s Healthy Gourmet Indian Cooking School since its conception. She co-develops and consults on recipes, as well as co-teaches cooking demos and classes. She is a member of both the Women’s Culinary Network and International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). Most recently, Preena and Arvinda appeared on City TV’s Breakfast Television’s LIVE EYE with Jennifer Valentyne.

Preena recently completed her Masters in Environmental Studies, concentrating her research in understanding the relationship between food and the environment. In August 2005, Preena, along with her brother, launched a line of Indian cooking ingredients called Arvinda’s. The launch of the products was facilitated through credits towards Preena’s Master’s degree, where she was striving to demonstrate concepts of sustainability within her newly founded company in the food sector.
