The Agricultural Management Institute (AMI) of Ontario has commissioned the Hemlock Group to conduct a survey of farm managers who have studied in agriculture at a post-secondary level in Ontario and elsewhere. The objective of this project is to collect and analyse farm managers’ perceptions and attitudes regarding the value of their education in preparing them for an active farm management career. The survey outcome will be shared with all Ontario and Canadian teaching institutions. It is AMI’s hope that the information obtained in the study will be useful to institutions as they continually improve their program delivery to future farm managers.
