For 2014 the Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security is providing funding opportunities for the following types of seed production and seed education projects:

Local Seed Training and Exchange Fund:
Funds for seed training and exchange events, to promote high quality seed saving and the exchange of ecological seed
Public Access and Regional Seed Diversification Fund:
Funds for projects that support public access, multiplication, and diversification of seed available to farmers and the general public
Seed Facilitation Fund:
Funds to support projects to build capacity, scale up and/or diversify the commercial production of ecological, regionally adapted vegetable seed and field crop seed

Please note that the call for proposals for the Seed Facilitation Fund will be issued on November 1st, 2013.
